About Dr. Chris Reynolds
Born 1941. Perth, Western Australia.
At 16 Dr. Reynolds joined the British mercantile marine and travelled the world for seven years as a navigating officer before entering medical school at the University of Western Australia.
Graduating M.B.,B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) 1973, he spent most of his professional career as a general practitioner in Perth and Melbourne. He worked four years for the International Organisation for Migration assisting resettlement of Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong. Then followed a year based in Moscow assisting resettlement of Russian Jewish migrants to the United States.
From 1985 to 1988, Dr. Reynolds, through his then Perth winebar, Riccardo's, was instrumental in restoring the confidence, public performance and acclaim of David Helfgott. This pianistic genius, featured in the Academy Award-winning film "Shine", has been performing worldwide ever since.
In 1995, a chance healing phenomenon using a cereal grass extract reignited his flagging passion for practising medicine. Since then, he has used wheatgrass to help thousands of his patients overcome conditions for which there were no satisfactory pharmaceutical alternatives. For example, more than 85% of molluscum and anal fissure patients recover simply by applying wheatgrass to the affected areas two or three times a day. Dr. Reynolds claims this is something the pharmaceutical industry has not yet been able to achieve. Also, the safety, cost and virtual absence of adverse effects using wheatgrass for healing, makes it ideal for use by everyone - health practitioners and general public alike.
Dr. Reynolds is the only doctor we are aware of anywhere
who, when he first saw the healing effects of wheatgrass, had the
vision to develop the wheatgrass products we have today. Certainly, he
leads the world in his clinical experience, scientific knowledge and
understanding of how wheatgrass and other cereals have such beneficial
effects.
Special interests: Therapeutic properties of wheatgrass - sports and soft tissue injuries, wound healing, skin disorders.
